Union apologises for ill advised phrase.
The Union would like to apologise for the phrase used in Concrete dated Tuesday 10th May 2011 in the ‘comment and opinion’ section titled UEA2011/2012: Some suggestions.
The comments made about the age of the staff that runs café direct were ill advised and were made by a student without considering the wider impact on the catering staff. We would like to apologise as the Union does not support the views expressed in the article however we do support the right for a student to express their own opinions in this section of the paper.
