The Times Higher Education world rankings today listed the University of East Anglia as 174th in the world, an all-time highest for the institution.
The Union of UEA students was proud of its partner institution’s success and how this can be reflected in the high quality of teaching its students get.
The rankings are based upon several different criteria. These include teaching, international mix of students, industry income, research and the number of times the university’s published work has been cited. The combined score means the university is now 174th, improving by 128 places from 302nd last year; making it the 2nd fastest rising university.
Rachel Handforth, Academic Officer said
“The Union’s really pleased with the University’s place in the rankings- it really pays testament to UEA’s excellent research, learning and teaching.”
